This system has been tested and third-party certified as required in the NSF/ANSI P473 standard for PFOA/PFOS, along with NSF/ANSI 53 standard for the reduction of lead and cysts.
Not only does PIONEER remove PFAS and heavy materials such as lead, it also removes and/or reduces chlorine, chloramine, and other harmful contaminants in your water, including >99.5 of Cysts. But how is it done? Whole Home Cartridge Filter
This system features:
- Long filter life to 100,000 gallons.
- Removes PFOS/PFOA, Lead, Chlorine, Chloramine and 99.95% of Cysts.
- Greatly improves taste and odor.
- Is eco-friendly in that the cartridge is considered home waste when exhausted.
- Excellent flow rate with up to 8 gallons per minute. In a high flow application, we install 2 or more systems to get up to 16, 24 or more gallons per minute.
- Metered; lights on the unit tell you its status: Green – Good, Yellow – Change Soon (10% left), Red – Call us to change the cartridge or you can DIY!
EPA guidance has placed the acceptable level for PFAS/PFOS at 70 PPT, or parts per trillion – this specifically speaks to drinking water, and takes no consideration for the water in which we bathe or shower, wash our clothes and dishes and water our plants and pets.
